Colleen's Story
I have been living in La Junta, CO, working as a federal agent with the United States Department of Agriculture - Natural Resources Conservation Service for 21 years, this November of 2013. I was recently promoted to the position of Area Administrative Coordinator in Jully. My career with the USDA has been a truly memorable experience in my life for several years, providing me with the opportunity to travel all over the USA. I have been so fortunate to have traveled to Washington, DC; New Orleans, LA; St. Louis, MO; Omaha, NE; Reno, NV; and Phoenix, AZ, just to mention a few of my favorite sites during my federal tenure. ored to be the recipient of the National Earth Team State Coordinator Award, as the winner in the Western Regional States, recognizing me for my work as the Colorado State Earth Team Coordinator with the USDA-NRCS for 11 years. It was quite a wonderful, humbling award to receive! In what spare time I have, I love spending time with my kids, dancing, bowling, traveling, listening to great music (a passion for me) and being with fun, positive people. My daughter, Tamara McCleary Williams, has been a banker since her high school years, and is currently the Assistant Vice President of Community Banks of Colorado, in Rocky Ford, CO. My son, Adam McCleary, is a lead Building Engineer with the Cherry Creek School District in Aurora, CO, assigned to Eagle Crest High School. I am very blessed...
